Golden Valley Christian Church

Last Sunday, a new and exciting program was introduced into the Golden Valley Christian Church's morning services.  The program is called "The Story," and it will be guiding the participants to better understand the Bible from the very beginning to the end.  The 9:30 Sunday School portion is set up with classes for children and adults.  We were pleased with the attendance for our first lesson and encourage everyone to take advantage of this marvelous study to bring us closer to God.

Bro. Tim's morning message, entitled "The Big Bang," elaborated on the Sunday School lesson, adding new information and Biblically reinforcing the study.  In creating the world, God left his most valuable creation for last, that of the creation of Adam and Eve.  Bro. Tim discussed the fall of mankind and also pointed out what is probably the first prophesy concerning Jesus.

We extend another invitation to everyone who enjoys good old bluegrass gospel music, to attend the "Potter's Wheel" concert this Sunday evening (October 5th) at 6:00 PM.  This musical group is from Lebanon, Missouri, and performed for us last year.  This is truly an inspiring and fun event, and you will be happy you attended.  There will be refreshments after the concert for those attending.

The Bible challenge question is:  "What probably is the first prophesy that refers to Jesus?'"  (Genesis 3:15)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton.  Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM.  Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone #660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org.  We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
