Golden Valley Christian Church

Last Sunday was one of those days that we wish we could have every Sunday. We were happy to have so many visitors helping to fill pews on "Back-to-Church" Sunday, as we started our five-week "I Love Sundays" series. After church, we all enjoyed a wonderful basket dinner. Wednesday nights, the ladies are having a Bible study, focusing on the book, "Fierce Beauty." Although it is hard to realize, Christmas is on the way, and our children will soon begin practicing for this year's program, with the help of Melynne Jones. The ladies are invited to a bridal shower for Nancy Snider, on September 27th, at 3:00 PM.

We welcomed Tim and Georgia back from their vacation. Bro. Tim's message came from Psalm 122 and was entitled "Sundays Can Surprise You."

Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton. Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM; morning worship is at 10:30.
