Golden Valley Christian Church

There are three beautiful new stained glass windows in the Golden Valley Christian Church building.  After the purchase of the building, individuals in the church gave the windows in memory of loved ones.  Each one of the windows has a different picture, all symbolizing some aspect of the Bible.  Not only are these windows beautiful to look at, they are visual reminders of our need to worship our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Remember, the church is the people attending, not the building.

Even though the weather does not always agree, spring is on the way--that means a work day for spring cleaning of our church building, inside and outside.  Plans are in the making for Easter services, which will soon be here.  A new study group for women is also planned.

Bro. Tim's message came from John 13:1-8.  The man that was beaten and crucified was none other than our God.  Do we struggle with the concept that God and Jesus are the same?  Bro. Tim used illustrations to show how it is possible for that concept to be true, even in this world.  God saw His creation being destroyed by Satan with our permission, so He came to Earth to provide a way for us to live in eternity with Him.  Jesus has given us the example of loving and serving, which is a high priority for God.  Likewise, it should be a high priority for us.

The Bible challenge question is:  "To whom did Peter first deny knowing Christ?'"  (John 18:15-17)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton.  Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM.  Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone #660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org.  We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
