Golden Valley Christian Church

"If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit." (Lev. 26:3&4)  How thankful we should be for the refreshing rain we have had; also, realizing the spring season is almost upon us.  We should all be mindful of how our God has designed this world as we watch again the new growth that takes place each spring.  It takes rain and sunshine, in the right portion, to see the miracle of plants and trees develop, flourish, and bear fruit.

Last Saturday, some of the congregation gathered at the church building for a "spring cleaning day."  With the recent renovation nearly finished, and the cleaning done, the building is now in tip-top shape for Easter, which will soon be here.  We give all glory to God, who has provided for us; also, many thanks to those who did the hard work of cleaning.

The 24th chapter of the Psalms tells us of the coming Messiah.  Bro. Tim's message, entitled "The King of Glory," was clear on who has sovereignty over the entire world.  God, an independent power, created everything in and on this planet, plus the heavenly bodies that surround us.  We are His subjects and, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, He is coming and will rule again.
