Golden Valley Christian Church

The first Sunday in this new year was a beautiful day, and the Golden Valley Christian Church was blessed to have a great attendance. Our children's church is growing; we give praise to God and thanks to Melynne and Austin Jones, Chris and Abby Rush, and Anna Tucker for their dedication to the children. Thanks to all that attended last Sunday, and we cordially invite everyone back. With this new year, there will be new activities and studies in the church. On Sunday, January 17th, Teen Challenge of the Ozarks will be at GVCC to present music and testimony during the morning service. Other activities are in the planning stages.

During our morning worship, Bro. Tim brought a prayer, and Chris Rush shared a communion meditation. In the absence of our regular song leader, Georgia Randall led the songs. Bro. Tim's message was entitled "For God's Glory," with scripture from Eph. 3:20-21. The GVCC celebrated its seventh anniversary, coming into existence in January of 2009. Bro. Tim did a bit of reminiscing about the history of GVCC during the past seven years. From time to time, we need to be reminded of the blessings God has given us.
