Just in case you noticed that there was no GVCC news in last week’s newspaper, we thought an explanation would be in order. We owe a huge THANK YOU to Mary Tuggle for writing our church news article EVERY WEEK for twelve years straight, with the first one published the week of October 3, 2010. At that time, Mary was 81 years old, and she was happy to find a job in the church that she could physically take on. This was a perfect fit for her, as she has always had the gift of creative composition. However, this “job” has now become a “chore” for her, and she has decided to call an end to wracking her brain for new ideas. She thanks everyone for their kind words of encouragement over the years, and still looks forward to greeting you every Sunday morning, at our worship service.

Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton. Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 AM, and the morning worship service is at 10:30.
