Golden Valley Christian Church

Each day has 1,440 minutes in it.  In a 24-hour period, each of us receives the same amount of minutes.  If we would take ten minutes of each day to pray, that would still leave 1,430 minutes to do the other things necessary in our lives.  If all of us used that ten minutes to pray, it could change the world!

The Golden Valley Christian Church building has a new look on the outside.  New siding and some new windows are being installed, thanks to willing hands.  We all appreciate the work of those who do this great work for us.

During our morning worship service, Mary Tuggle did a reading, "Let There Be Peace," which ended with a surprising twist.  Bro. Tim's message was the parable Jesus told of the rich man and Lazarus.  Bro. Tim's question to us was, "Are you living, preparing to die?"  While this may seem a morbid question, it is one we all must face.  The rich man did not prepare for death, as many today do not.  Death is the great equalizer.  We will not be judged by our money, jobs or treasures we have on this earth, but by the treasures we have laid up in heaven.

The Bible challenge question is:  "How many days did Israel travel in the wilderness before finding water?"  (Exodus 15:22)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton.  Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM.  Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone # 660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org.  We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
