Golden Valley Christian Church

A church building is like a home, always needing cleaning and repairs. Saturday, October 17th, at 9 a.m., we will have a work day at the church. Many willing hands make light work of heavy toil, so those who can help will be appreciated. Last Saturday was a beautiful day for the wedding of Nancy Snider and Phil Miller. GVCC extends congratulations to this wonderful couple. Sunday evening, the 18th, Bro. Tim and Georgia will be hosting a wiener roast at their home for the congregation.

In Sunday School, we discussed the reasons for attending church and the benefits in doing so. In our worship service, Ken Jones led us in prayer, and Chris Tucker provided our communion meditation. Bro. Tim's message, continuing from the "I Love Sundays" series, was entitled "Sundays Can Change Your Eternity," with scripture from Galatians 4:4-5.
