Page 22, German Potato Salad -- ingredients:

instead of 4 slices, use 9 slices of bacon.

 

Page 52, Marlene's Crockpot Pork Roast -- instructions:

Rub spices on roast. Brown roast on all sides in 1 tablespoon oil.  Mix broth, sugar,

lemon juice, soy sauce, and orange zest.  Pour over roast.  Cook on low 8 to 12 hours or on

high 4 to 5 hours.  Sauce is drained off when done.  Add water to make 2 cups of cooking

sauce, then add 2 tablespoons corn starch, 1/2 cup orange juice.  Cook until thickened.  Pour

over rice or mashed potatoes.
