Have you ever been in a car on a long hill, following a slow-moving, large truck?  When the truck driver waves his hand, indicating that all is clear, you immediately pull around the truck and pass it.  Did you stop to think you have put your faith in a complete stranger?  If you put your life and faith in someone you do not know, why is it you do not put your life and faith in Jesus Christ, whose life and deeds have been known for centuries?

Sunday morning, GVCC had a great attendance, and the attendees received a double blessing with two excellent guest speakers.  Richard Blake, from Christian Prison Ministries of Missouri, was our first speaker.  He told us some uplifting stories as to how prison inmates, through this ministry, are accepting our Lord.  This is a win-win situation for both the inmates and our society.  Praise God!  Our second speaker was Johnathan Mast, Bro. Tim and Georgia's son-in-law, who is a minister in a large Christian Church in Amarillo, Texas.  Bro. Johnathan took his scripture from Matthew 22, focusing on the questions the Pharisees asked Jesus.  The questions asked were not to enlighten the Pharisees, but to trap Jesus.  By the answers given, it was obvious Jesus was the Son of God.  Our thanks go out to both of these commendable speakers.

The Bible challenge question is:  "Who asked Jesus for help in overcoming his unbelief?'"  (Mark 9:17-24)
